Here we go.  The much-anticipated General Election is November 5^th, 2024.  If you live in New Athens Township, you will vote at the Community Hall, 406 Chester Street, New Athens, IL.  The only two precincts in the Township, 1 and 2, vote at the same location.  Polls open at 6 AM and close at 7 PM. 

The following offices will be on the ballot:  United States President and Vice President, Representatives in Congress 12^th and 13^th Congressional District, State Senator Legislative 55^th and 58^th Districts, Representatives in the General Assembly 109^th, 112^th, 113^th, 114^th and 115^th, Prairie DuPont Sanitary District Trustees.  County Board Chairman, State’s Attorney, County Coroner,  Circuit Clerk, County Auditor, County Recorder, County Board of Review-Full and unexpired term, Regional Superintendent of Schools-unexpired term, County Board Members-Districts 1,6,7,9,10,11, 16, 18, 24 & 27.   This is a complete list for the entire county, only the offices applicable to your precinct will be on your ballot.
